ABOUT ALT-WEBRING
PURPOSE OF ALT-WEBRING
This system was created because of dissatisfaction with other webring systems who, I feel, have become either too big and overly complicated or are abandoned and unsupported.
WHY?
The owner of alt-webring, Andrew McPhee (aka Macca) is a
ringmaster of some years involvement who has made many good friends and got great pleasure from being
a member of the webring community.
So I want to give something back. Providing this ring system is one way I hope that I can repay
the community.
HOW IS ALT-WEBRING FUNDED?
This site and ring system are privately funded by the owner, Andrew McPhee.
WILL THIS SITE EVER GO 'COMMERCIAL'?
No, the intention is that alt-webring will remain privately owned and funded for the foreseeable future, there will be no need for advertising on the site.
