That’s right, and a good lunch restaurant at that. (More)

Kim and Marissa Manlove Continue Their Mission with Web Blog
We first introduced the Manloves back in April, when they shared David’s story with atGeist.com. Four and a half years ago, David was a sophomore at Lawrence Central when his life was cut short after using an inhalant. Since then, his family has only strengthened their efforts to educate others about substance abuse. This follow-up story reveals how the Manloves are blogging to share their story and keep David's memory alive. (More)
“Two Boys at Work” in the Moorings Neighborhood
Everyone remembers his or her first job; whether earning money as the area paperboy or babysitting for neighborhood children, it was a first step toward independence. The much anticipated property owners meeting for Geist residents caught in the crosshairs of the Town of Fishers’ forced annexation attracted over 300 residents last night at the Hamilton Southeastern High School. Unincoporated Geist Homes Helped Fishers Attain "24th Best Place to Live" Ranking
As you all know, Fishers has been throwing around their 24th ranking as a “Best Place to Live” pretty liberally in the annexation discussion. We have heard it one too many times and my husband suggested looking into this ranking in more depth. When you do, some really interesting things come out which I think residents need to know. This ranking was given by Money magazine. What is interesting is how Money picked the winners. (More)

Fishers Town Council President's Property Illegally Annexed into Fishers
Geist residents have been curious about a single parcel of property in the Valleys at Geist on the northern end of Geist Reservoir. What Makes Smart Homes So Smart?
I get a lot of questions from people who have seen TV shows spotlighting “Smart Homes.” They have the idea that these homes are controlled by a complicated and impractical computer or master brain. They don’t want to give up control of anything in their lives - even a light switch. In business, successful executives achieve “control” by surrounding...

Making Your Fifties Your Best Years
For a woman in her fifties, life can be very exciting.

Often times, children are leaving the home to start their lives in college or in the work place. It’s a great time to renew relationships with your spouse, family and friends, and also to grow spiritually and intellectually.
