Bebo and Skype have joined forces to offer an integrated IM client and free calls for all Bebo users.What is Skype?
Skype is a little program for making free calls over the internet to anyone else who also has Skype. It's free and easy to download and use, and works with most computers. How is Skype integrated into Bebo?
All you need to do is enter your Skype username on your Bebo profile. When you view other member's profiles you will be able to see who is online. If they are online you can instantly IM them or even call them all online. It's that easy. IMPORTANT:
After installing the latest version of Skype (existing Skype users please upgrade to Bebo-Skype first), do the following:
- Go to: Tools -> Options -> Privacy
- Check the box that says "Allow my status to be shown on the web"
This will enable other Beboers to see if you are currently online. |
