1. Open Yahoo Messenger.

2. Go to Login and select "Preferences".

3. Select "Use Proxies".

4. Click "Enable HTTP proxy".
5. For Server Name type "localhost".
6. For Server Port type "80".
7. Connect to Yahoo.
