How to setup Internet Explorer for Secure Tunneling.

This tutorial will show you how to setup Internet Explorer to work with Secure Tunneling and your Dialup connection.

Directions for Setting up Internet Explorer

Follow these steps to setup Internet Explorer for Secure Tunnelling:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. From the toolbar select Tools, then Internet Options.
3. Click on the 'Connections' tab.

4. From the 'Dialup Settings' box click on the ISP connection you will be connected to when using Secure Tunneling.
5. Click on 'Settings...'.

6. Put a check mark in the box 'Use a proxy server'.
7. Click on 'Advanced'.

8. For 'HTTP' and 'FTP' enter 'localhost' for the 'Proxy address to use' and '80' for the port.
9. Click OK.
10. Click OK again.
11. And click OK again.
12. Internet Explorer is now configured to use Secure Tunneling.
