STANDARD SETTINGS
  • The Private Surfing Navigation Bar features two standard settings (Normal and Maximum) and a Custom setting. The different settings (Normal, Maximum and Custom) can be activated by clicking on them. The active setting appears in red.

  • The navbar default setting is Normal. The following features apply to the Normal setting:

    SSL Encryption Off
    URL Encryption Off
    Safe Cookies On
    Banner Ad Filtering Off
    Hide Page Titles Off
    Referrer Blocking On
    OS Shielding Off

  • The following features apply to the Maximum setting:

    SSL Encryption On
    URL Encryption On
    Safe Cookies Off
    Banner Ad Filtering On
    Hide Page Titles On
    Referrer Blocking On
    OS Shielding On
Mac Users: Our new full-time SSL feature is currently not compatible with MacOS. That means activating the "MAXIMUM" security setting on the Anonymizer toolbar will cause problems surfing, as will turning on the SSL feature within the CUSTOM setting.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working to resolve this problem.
