Anonymizer Dialup Help

Please refer to the instructions below to setup your Dialup service.

Go to your ‘Control Panel’ and click on ‘Network and Internet Connections’.

In ‘Network and Internet Connections’ click on ‘Network Connections’ at the bottom right.

On the left bar, click on ‘Create a new connection’.

On the Wizard, click ‘Next’ to continue.

Choose the option ‘Connect to the Internet’ and click ‘Next’ to continue.

Choose the option, ‘Set up my connection manually’ and click ‘Next’.

Select the option ‘Connect using a dial-up modem’ and click ‘Next’.

Enter the name you want to recognize the Dial Up account with.

Enter the phone number in your local area that you want to connect to. Please go to the website below to get the phone numbers in your area. https://www.anonymizerproxy.com/help/dialup/numbers.html

Choose the option who you would like access to this dial up connection. ‘Anyone’s use’ is recommended. Click ‘Next’ to continue.

Enter your Anonymizer username and password for dial up. Your username is your Anonymizer username@mail.anonymizer.com Then enter your password for your Anonymizer account. Please note: if your password is more than 12 characters, you only need to enter the first 12 characters to access the dial up connection. Click ‘Next’ to continue.

Mark the option to ‘Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop’ for easy accessibility to the Internet connection. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the Dial Up setup.

Once finished you will see the Dial Up connection on your desktop, named what you chose earlier in the set up. Double left click on that icon and connect to the Internet. If you have any trouble access the connection or have questions about the set up please call or email Technical Support.
