Anonymizer Universal - New DNS Information

Anonymizer has recently updated our servers and server structure. As a result, the DNS information for the universal.anonymizer.com server used by the Anonymizer Universal client for the formation of the VPN has changed. Most customers will be unaffected by this change.

  • If you receive any pop-up or notification from your security software regarding this change please select Allow and Remember.
  • If you have previously created rules in your router or firewall using the IP range, 168.143.113.x, it is now necessary to add/ allow the range 147.203.108.x.
  • It is always preferable to use the server name, universal.anonymizer.com, rather than the IP range as these changes will be seamless.

Anonymizer Universal version 1.0.9 Released to Ensure Compatibility with Windows 7 Service Pack 1

Anonymizer has released an automatic update for Windows users. Users that have already installed Windows 7 Service Pack 1 please download and install a new copy from our website. Microsoft released Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on Feb 22, 2011 for both 32 and 64 bit versions.
