I received a pop up to verify my Host Key. How can I verify it is the correct key?

How can I show my real IP address?

You can either click on Running in Secure Mode to change the status to Running in Insecure Mode or run the Configuration Wizard and select Restore Settings for the browser that you would like to show your real IP address.

How do I know my Total Net Shield is encrypting my traffic and changing my IP address?

Please ensure that you are in Secure Mode, logged on to Total Net Shield and using a configured browser. This secure status can be verified by an IP checking Web site, such as www.ipchicken.com. If you are being secured by Total Net Shield, the IP address shown will match the Name Address shown below in the Advanced section.

Why do I see a Page Cannot be Displayed message when I open my browser?

How can I remove Total Net Shield settings from my Browser?

When I check my location why am I shown as in the ocean?

The IP checking site has identified the request as coming from an anonymous proxy. They are unable to determine your geographic location so display the ocean. This is confirmation that you are anonymous.

How do I find out what version of Total Net Shield I have?

On the Total Net Shield Menu bar click Help the About. The version number is on the blue banner.
