Installation Installing Anonymizer Universal on your iPhone® is quick-and-easy. Simply follow these easy steps.
Please Note: There are two simple methods to install Anonymizer Universal on your iPhone.
Method 1: Download the Mobile Configuration File by logging into your account at www.anonymizer.com from your iPhone. Choose the “My Downloads” section of your account, and then “AU iPhone Config.” If you choose this method, skip to Step 3 in the directions below to continue with the installation.
Method 2: Download the “AU iPhone Config.” file to your computer and email it to the email account you use on your iPhone. Then, proceed with the steps below.
Open “Mail” from the iPhone menu.
Click on the “Mobile Configuration File” in the email. It will appear as a button within the email message.
Select “Install.”
Confirm installation and select “Install Now.”
You will then receive the message “Installing Profile.”
Enter the password you created during the purchase process at the Anonymizer website. To recover your password, click here.
Once you receive the message “Profile Installed,” select “Done” at the upper-right hand corner of the iPhone.
Slide the “VPN” Switch to the right so that the switch indicates “On.”
You are now connected to the VPN, and can freely go online to securely conduct personal business.
Removing Profile Removing Anonymizer Universal on your iPhone® is quick-and-easy. Simply follow these five short steps.
Select “Settings” from the iPhone menu.
Choose “General.”
Scroll to “Profile” and select “Anonymizer Universal.”
Click on the “Remove” button.
Confirm “Remove Profile” by clicking “Remove.”
Once removed, you will automatically be returned to the “General Settings” page.
