Turning Anonymizer Protection ON and OFF
- TO TURN PROTECTION ON: At any time while you're surfing, click on the ON/OFF button on the Privacy Toolbar. When the ON/OFF button is green and reads "ON", you are protected.
- You can also tell you're protected by the presence of a small banner that reads "Anonymizer Protection is Now Active" at the top of the Web page you're viewing.
- All open browser windows will simultaneously be activated or deactivated when you click the ON/OFF button
- Once Anonymizer protection is active, you will stay protected until you turn it off. That means that whether you follow a link on a Web page, type a new URL in to the Internet Explorer navigation bar, or select a link from your "Favorites" or "History" files, you will remain protected.
- TO TURN PROTECTION OFF: Simply click on the ON/OFF switch again. A grey OFF button means that Anonymizer protection is deactivated.
