How Anonymizer Protects You

  • When you activate Anonymizer protection, your surfing is automatically routed to special Anonymizer servers. These servers fetch the web pages you want to visit and rewrite them to remove potential privacy threats.

  • Because our servers fetch the pages you want, you never actually visit these Web sites. That means that they never see you or your unique IP address.

  • Commonly-used tracking files like cookies and Web bugs are neutralized in the Anonymizer protection process, and potentially malicious code is removed from the pages you view.

  • Anonymizer has many additional settings and features, including ones you can use to make sure you aren't tracked by your network administrator, employer or ISP.
