FEATURE: Banner Ad Filtering
THE PROBLEM:
Many websites put banner advertisements on thier website in hopes to make money off of them. They are usually third party ads that just clutter up the page.
THE SOLUTION: Banner Ad Filtering is how Anonymizer allows you to surf pages without the clutter of banner ads. This results in easier to read pages.
TO ACTIVATE:
Click the "Set Custom" button on the Anonymizer Privacy Toolbar.
There are two options for activating Banner Ad Filtering on the Privacy Settings page:
- Click the "Maximum" setting in the Privacy Settings page. Banner Ad Filtering is "On" when the Maximum setting is active.
- Click on the "Custom" button. Choose "Blocked" under Banner Ad Filtering. Finally click
the "Activate Settings" button.
